Please join us for a day of meditation and contemplation, where, through lecture, discussion, and guided meditation, we’ll explore:

Ross Buttner Ph.D.  recently completed his degree in clinical psychology.  For the first time, he will be presenting his dissertation research findings on the challengesof mindfulness practice. Based on in-depth interviews with 74 mindfulness practitioners and teachers, it is the most comprehensive study to date on the subject.   

Sarah Moore M.D. isa mind-body practitioner, therapist, and physician at the SSM Cancer center. Her personal practice has brought her much peace, joy and stability, and she is excited to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with others.   She currently guides weekly community meditations at the Monona Terrace.  Both Sarah and Ross have been practicing meditation for 19 years and have taught meditation to groups and individuals for the past ten years.
