Thanksgiving Centerpiece Workshop with

Kaisa Cummings and Casey Bilyeu, of Boxcar Blooms, are teaming up to demystify the art of creating unique floral centerpieces. Join us at Threshold, in the heart of the Atwood neighborhood, for this hands-on workshop as we teach you how to create a whimsical, seasonally-inspired centerpiece perfect for gifting or using on your Thanksgiving table. A portion of the proceeds will go towards putting Thanksgiving meals on the tables of those in need in Dane County through the Goodman Community Center’s 2017 Thanksgiving Basket Drive.

At this workshop, Kaisa and Casey will walk you through creating an elegant centerpiece, from preparing a vase to principles of design. You will learn how to artfully layer flowers and greenery to create a lush, full design with dynamic movement and shape. We will also talk about ways to sustainably source flowers and our favorite things to forage from nature—even in the city!

Cost includes all the materials (including flowers and vase) you will need to create an arrangement to take home, as well as demonstration, one-on-one instruction, and light refreshments. Register here:
