Visualizing Your Venture: Draw Connections in Your Work
Time & Location
About the Event
With Marita Herkert-Oakland and Eric Oakland of TruScribe
With the events in recent months, many of us have questions about how to move forward in our business and our life. This workshop will introduce you to a creative approach to better understanding and guiding your chosen venture or vocation.
When you think about what you want your venture or vocation to look like in the future, what is at the core? How can you visualize what you want to do and look critically at what is working and what needs to change in your current strategy or direction?
One way to explore where we are and where we are going is to put pen (or marker, or crayon - we’re not picky) to paper. The act of drawing out ideas helps to process information and communicate in new ways. Using graphic facilitation, or guided conversation combined with drawing and visual notetaking, we will explore how visuals can help us as we plan and process our work. Participants will be encouraged to use their own creativity but are not expected to be artistic!
Tickets: $5-$30 suggested donation
