When you feel loved and cared for, it's one of the best feelings in the world. We all have an innate desire to feel loved, accepted and appreciated. We also have a desire to give this attention and affection to others. And when you make caring for others your life's work, it can be beautiful and exhausting.
During our retreat, we will practice cultivating calmness. Creating calm in the midst of the chaos of life is a wonderful gift you can offer to yourself, your loved ones, and clients. We will explore how mindfulness can help you uncover calm, no matter what situation you're facing in the moment.
Carry on with Campassion
Through sitting and walking meditation and gentle movement, we'll come into stillness, and we'll tune in to the inner stability and compassionate nature that is within each of us. We hope this weekend of meditation, mindfulness and reflection will give you the tools you need to go back into your community carrying compassion and kindness through every moment, every breath.
What to Expect
The Kind Hearted Retreat takes place on Friday, January 10th from 5:30pm to 8pm & Saturday, January 11th from 8:30am to 4:30pm at Threshold, a vibrant yet relaxing gathering space in Madison, Wisconsin.
On Friday, we'll introduce the aims of the retreat and mindfulness practice. Friday will be particularly important to mindfulness beginners and people who have never attended a retreat. Saturday we'll spend the day exploring guided mindfulness practices.
