How do I Offer Myself when Life is on the Line?
Time & Location
About the Event
This experiential workshop will offer us an opportunity to inquire into what arises and what resources we can call on when faced with significant health challenges, dying or a seminal loss, whether our own or in support of another. We will use the the tree of life as our guiding image and explore this inquiry through meditation, journaling, conversation, movement, art and ritual. We will attend to the importance of self knowledge and self support and the power of the support of others and of community, as we share this special time of seasonal change. The workshop will include two nourishing home cooked meals.
Hadas and Efrat are both bodyworkers, artists, teachers and healers who have extensive training and experience in providing guidance and support to people with significant illness or at the end of life. They bring a deep friendship and their love for exploration and engagement to their work. Hadas will be coming from Israel to teach this workshop.
Cost: sliding scale $100-$200.
